A Tally alternative for when reading every response stops being free

Tally is cheaper than us and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Tally's free plan gives you unlimited forms and unlimited responses. Ours gives you 3 forms and 100 submissions a month. If cost per response is your deciding factor, Tally wins and this page cannot change that.
What we would ask you to weigh instead is the other cost: the time someone spends opening responses one by one to work out which ones matter. That cost does not show up on an invoice, which is exactly why it goes unnoticed until the volume gets uncomfortable.
The one-line difference
Tally collects everything, for free, forever.
Formisse reads what arrives, so you do not have to.
Tally solved a real problem: form builders that charge per response and paywall basic features. It is an excellent product, the editor is a pleasure, and for a lot of people it is genuinely all they need.
But Tally stops at collection. Responses land in a list, and from there it is you and the list. There is no summary, no category, no priority. Every submission looks like every other submission until you open it.
That is fine at ten responses a week. At forty a day, someone is spending their morning opening messages to find out which three needed attention yesterday.
Formisse reads each submission as it lands: what this person wants in one line, what category it falls into, how urgent it is and what to do next. The list answers the question before you open anything.

Which one should you pick?
Stay with Tally if
your volume is manageable, you read everything anyway, or you need Stripe payments and unlimited responses without paying. It is free and it is good and there is no shame in it being enough.
Move to Formisse if
the list has got long enough that finding the important response takes real time, and you would rather that question was answered before you open it.
Questions people ask
Does Tally have AI?
Tally has AI assistance around building forms, but no per-submission analysis of responses: no summaries, categories or urgency scoring on individual submissions. That is the gap Formisse fills.
Is Tally cheaper than Formisse?
Yes. Tally's free plan has no form or response limits; ours has both. If price per response is the deciding factor, Tally wins.
Can I move my Tally forms to Formisse?
Not automatically. There is no Tally importer, and we would rather say so than imply one exists. You rebuild the form in the Formisse builder and then share the Formisse link or embed in place of the Tally one. Responses you have already collected stay in Tally and can be exported from there, so nothing is lost in the move.
Can I use Tally and Formisse together?
They are both form builders, so you would be choosing per form rather than stacking them. A sensible split: Tally for the high-volume forms nobody needs to read individually, Formisse for the ones where each response is a person waiting.
Does Formisse take payments?
No. If you need Stripe on your forms, Tally does that on its free plan and we do not.
