Getting Started

What is Formisse and what does it do?

Formisse is a form management platform where you can build forms and surveys, collect responses, and then manage those responses in a smart, analysed way. What sets us apart is the infrastructure that analyses every submission to your forms in detail and puts it directly in front of you and your team, so you can make fast decisions.

Who is Formisse for?

Formisse is for businesses, agencies, freelancers and teams, with or without a website. For any organisation or person whose work centres on collecting, reviewing and deciding on responses, such as contact, quote, application, support and product/demo requests, Formisse manages the internal information-gathering flow together with AI analysis.

Do I need to know how to code to use Formisse?

No. You can set up your forms in minutes with the drag-and-drop builder and publish them with a shareable link or a simple embed code. For developers, there is also a Custom publishing type, so you can publish your forms fully custom on your website and manage them more flexibly.

Can I use it without a website?

Yes. Formisse creates a shareable link for each of your forms; share that link by email, social media or message, and collect responses even without a website.

Forms and Publishing

How do I build my forms?

You can build your forms easily with the drag-and-drop form builder. Add ready-made fields like short/long text, email, number, date, choice and checkbox, then order and arrange them. You can make fields required, set validation rules, and use conditional logic to show a field only when a particular answer is given.

How do I publish my forms, and what publishing types are there?

There are four ways: (1) a hosted page, a ready form page on Formisse whose link you share; (2) an iframe, an embed code you paste into your site; (3) a JavaScript embed, a more flexible embed that mounts on your page; (4) Custom publishing, the developer option where you post your own HTML form to our endpoint for full control.

Can I match a form to my own site's design or brand?

Yes. You can choose from ready-made themes or create designs entirely from scratch. Adjust colour, font, corner rounding and logo to fit your brand, so the form looks like a natural part of your site.

Can I change the publishing type after creating a form?

Yes. You can switch between iframe and embed whenever you like. When moving to Custom publishing, field mapping may change, so it shows a warning and you may need to set it up again.

Can I add a submission quota to a form?

Yes. You can set an optional submission limit on each form; when that number is reached, the form automatically stops accepting new submissions. Ideal for cases like event registration or a limited campaign.

Can I send an automatic reply after a submission?

Yes. You can send an automatic email reply to the person who filled in the form, with content you define. All you need is an email field in the form that users can fill in.

Can I offer the same form in multiple languages?

Each form can be created for a single language. For forms that address multiple languages, you create a separate form for each language, so every text shown to the visitor matches that form's language.

AI Analysis

What does Formisse AI do on every submission?

The moment a submission lands in our system, the data it sends goes through an analysis process. It produces a verdict (genuine, needs review or spam), a spam score from 0 to 100, urgency and completeness scores, a category and sentiment tag, a short summary and a suggested next step. So you instantly know which response to look at first.

Can I get a broader analysis beyond individual submissions?

Yes. AI Insights reads all your forms together over the period you choose and produces a briefing: what changed, what stands out and where you should look. Form Analysis takes a single form in depth, presenting the responses to that form as a summary, highlights and field-by-field observations.

Can I turn AI analysis off?

Yes. AI analysis is not mandatory on every form; it is a per-form setting you turn on or off. On forms where you do not need AI analysis, keep it off to disable analysis of the submissions to that form.

Can I give the AI my own instructions?

Of course. When you want AI analysis for a form, there is an extra instruction field. Write instructions there for the AI to take into account while analysing the submissions to that form, so you can steer the analysis and get better results.

Can I set the spam score threshold myself?

Yes. You set a spam threshold for each form; if the AI's spam score is above that threshold, the submission is automatically flagged as spam. Raise the threshold to be more lenient, or lower it to be stricter.

What language does the AI analyse in?

The language of the AI output is set from your workspace setting. Whatever language your forms receive responses in, you get the summaries and tags in the language you choose.

What is AI analysis?

When Formisse analyses a submission, it puts it through these steps: first, if you gave an AI instruction to the form the submission came from, it starts by reviewing the submission against those instructions; then it looks at the connection between the submission and the form to work out how valuable, important, urgent or relevant the submission is, and produces scores. It then previews how you or your teammate would receive this submission, prepares a summary and a suggestion, and presents it to you ready to act on.

Automations

What is an automation?

Automations are a feature you can create for each form to manage submissions and workflows. By setting up an automation on a form, you can tie the submissions to that form to specific conditions and, when those conditions are met, automatically do many things: send them to external apps, assign them to team members, flag them as spam/read and more. You can also include the AI's scores and assessments in the conditions, bringing the AI's decisions into your automations, or run actions for every submission with no conditions at all.

What can I do with automations?

Automatically, on a new submission: send a notification email to your team; post a message to Slack, Discord or Telegram; create a record or task in Trello, ClickUp, Notion or Airtable; add a contact to HubSpot or Mailchimp; add a row to Google Sheets or an event to Google Calendar; send an SMS with Twilio; and connect to many other apps through Zapier or Make.

Can I tie automations to a condition?

Yes. You can run an automation on every submission with no conditions, or tie it to a condition; for example, only when urgency is high, when the submission is not spam, or when the category is a certain value.

How many automations can I create?

The number of automations, and the number of actions in each automation, depends on your plan. Higher plans let you define more automations and more actions.

Integrations

Which tools does Formisse integrate with?

With the main tools: Slack, Discord and Telegram for messaging; HubSpot and Mailchimp for CRM; Trello, ClickUp, Notion and Airtable for project management; Google Sheets and Google Calendar for sheets and calendar; Twilio for SMS; Freshdesk for support; and Zapier and Make to bridge to many more apps.

What can I do with integrations?

You can automatically forward incoming submissions to the tools your team already uses, where they appear as a message, record, task, contact or row. That way you stay inside your existing workflow without moving data by hand.

How do I connect integrations?

Most integrations are set up by authorising your account in one step or entering an API key/endpoint. You then pick it as an action in an automation and start using it.

Plans and Limits

Do you have a free plan?

Yes. With the free plan you can use Formisse without entering any credit card details. You can set up your forms and start collecting responses. You can upgrade any time for higher limits, AI analysis and advanced features.

What counts as a submission?

Every response to one of your forms counts as a submission, whatever plan you are on. However, submissions our system automatically detects as spam are not included in your limits. A submission you manually mark as spam still counts.

What happens when I reach my quota or submission limit?

On the submissions side there are two limits: monthly and total. The monthly limit is the number of submissions you receive in the relevant billing period (per month). The total is the number of all submissions you hold in the system. When your monthly or total limit is completely full, your forms automatically stop accepting responses. You then need to upgrade your account's quota or delete submissions you no longer need.

Do spam submissions count towards my limit?

Submissions the system automatically detects as spam are not included in your monthly or total limit. However, when you mark a submission as spam yourself, it is included only in your total limit, and still not in your monthly limit.

Can I change or cancel my plan at any time?

Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel your plan whenever you like. The change takes effect in the next billing period.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No, you can use Formisse on our free plan without entering any credit card details.

Which plans include AI Insights and Form Analysis?

Submission Analysis, AI Insights and Form Analysis are not available on free plans. You can view the basic metrics and charts on every plan.

Security, Data and Team

How does Formisse stop spam and bots?

We use a spam-detection technique on every form and within the rules we define on the server side. On top of that, when you also use the AI analysis feature, a spam submission can be caught and flagged during AI analysis even if it slips past our systems. We also let users optionally add Captcha verification to their forms.

Is my data mine? Can I export it?

Yes. All the submissions you collect belong to you; you can export your data as CSV or Excel whenever you want.

Can I manage submissions together with my team?

Yes. You can invite team members to your workspace with per-module permissions and assign incoming submissions to people, keeping it clear who is handling what.
