A Typeform alternative that reads the message, not just the sender

Typeform can research who filled in your form. Formisse reads what they actually wrote: a summary, a category and an urgency score on every submission, on every paid plan.

The one-line difference

Typeform finds out who this person is.

Formisse works out what they are asking for.

Typeform's AI data enrichment looks up the person behind a response (company, contact details, profile data) so sales teams can qualify and route leads faster. For a demo request form feeding a sales pipeline that is a genuinely good idea, and Typeform does it well.

It answers a different question from the one Formisse answers. Enrichment tells you this response came from an operations manager at a 200-person logistics company. It does not tell you that the message says a shipment is missing and the customer is threatening to leave.

Formisse reads the content: what is being asked, what kind of request it is, how urgent it is and what to do next, on every submission, whether it is a lead, a complaint, a support request or a job application.

Most forms are not lead capture. For those, knowing what was said matters more than knowing who said it.

What Typeform does well

Typeform is the best-designed form product on the market and we are not going to argue otherwise.

  • The form experience itself

One question at a time, a conversational flow, and completion rates most builders cannot match.

  • AI data enrichment

Automatically researches the contacts behind responses.

  • Contacts and Automations

For organising leads and triggering follow-up.

  • Smart Insights

AI summaries, topic detection and sentiment across your results.

  • Research Flow

    AI-moderated studies at survey scale.

If your priority is the most polished respondent experience available, or you are running a sales-led lead capture motion with budget behind it, Typeform is the stronger product.

Where Formisse is different

  1. The message, not the sender

Formisse's analysis is about what was written. That works on any form: complaints, support tickets, quote requests, applications. Enrichment only helps when the person filling in the form is a sales prospect worth researching.

The Formisse submission list. The AI Summary column states what each person is asking for, and the AI Review column shows the category and urgency score for that request.
The submission list in Formisse. Every line describes what was written, not who wrote it.
  2. Analysis is not rationed

On Typeform, enrichment is available on the Growth Flow plan only, not on Basic, Plus or Business. That plan includes 10,000 monthly responses but 1,500 enrichments, with a 5,000 maximum. So even at the top of the published pricing, most responses arrive unenriched. Formisse analyses every submission your plan allows: the analysis quota and the submission quota are the same number, on every plan.

  3. The price gap is not small

Typeform's plans run $39, $79, $129 and $379 a month, and enrichment sits on the $379 plan. Formisse's paid plans start at $8 per month billed annually and include submission analysis from the first paid tier.

  4. Urgency and spam as first-class ideas

Every submission gets an urgency score. Spam goes to a separate browsable tab rather than being removed from view, because a wrong spam decision hides a real customer, and that is a worse failure than a wrong priority.

Which one should you pick?

Choose Typeform if

the respondent experience is the point (high-stakes lead capture where completion rate drives revenue), or you are a sales team that wants enriched contact profiles and has the budget for the plan that includes them.

Choose Formisse if

your forms bring in a mix of things (enquiries, support, complaints, applications) and the job is knowing what each one is asking for and which to handle first.

Questions people ask

Does Typeform analyse form responses with AI?

Yes, in two ways. Smart Insights summarises results with topic and sentiment analysis across responses, and AI data enrichment researches the contact behind a response. Formisse does something different: it reads the content of each individual submission and reports what that person is asking for and how urgent it is.

Does Formisse do contact enrichment?

No, and we are not planning to. It requires third-party data providers and a per-lookup cost model, and it answers a question most forms do not have. We read what was written instead.

Is Formisse cheaper than Typeform?

Yes, substantially. Paid plans start at $8 per month billed annually, against $39 to $379 a month. Compare what you need rather than the headline: if conversational form design is what you are paying for, Typeform is worth its price and we do not match it.

Can I move my typeforms to Formisse?

Not automatically. There is no Typeform importer, and we would rather say so than imply one exists. You rebuild the form in the Formisse builder and then share the Formisse link or embed in place of the Typeform one. Responses you have already collected stay in Typeform and can be exported from there, so nothing is lost in the move.

Are Formisse's forms as good-looking as Typeform's?

No. Typeform's one-question-at-a-time experience is the best in the category and we do not claim otherwise. Formisse's forms are clean and customisable; what happens after submission is where we are better.

Knowing who wrote it is useful. Knowing what they need is urgent.
